🚀 UBI Solutions is accelerating its growth with the acquisition of CEMI
UBI Solutions, a specialist in IoT and RFID technologies for traceability, has announced the acquisition of CEMI, a long-established automatic identification company founded in 1982. The transaction, formalised before the Commercial Court as part of a disposal plan, marks a new stage in the Group’s growth strategy.
An acquisition that combines two complementary areas of expertise
CEMI has built its reputation on over forty years’ expertise in automatic identification and traceability, serving major clients such as Chronopost, ADP, JCDecaux, FedEx, RATP, Bouygues, BNP Paribas and Casino. By integrating CEMI, UBI Solutions is expanding its portfolio of expertise and clients, whilst providing this long-established company with the technological resources needed to accelerate its transformation, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence.
For UBI Solutions, the aim goes beyond mere external growth: it is about bringing together two areas of expertise to offer a broader and more integrated range of services, combining sensors, RFID, IoT and artificial intelligence applied to industrial and logistics traceability.
An accelerating growth strategy
This acquisition comes one year after the RAISE Invest fund took a stake in the company; the fund is supporting UBI Solutions in rolling out its development strategy, which combines organic growth with external growth initiatives. It also illustrates the Group’s broader ambition: to support long-established SMEs in the traceability sector through their technological transformation, drawing on their industrial roots, their teams and their long-standing customer relationships, rather than seeing them disappear for lack of a buyer.
