Wonderbox: ensuring accurate inventory of gift box stocks

Wonderbox is a French company based in Paris, part of the Multipass Group, specializing in gift boxes and the sale of recreational activities online. Founded in 2004, the group is present in several European countries. In 2022, Wonderbox expanded into multiple countries, offering a wide range of experiences. With an extensive network of retail outlets, Wonderbox provides a large variety of products, ensuring memorable experiences for all tastes.

Wonderbox implemented a solution that allows its sales teams to guarantee reliable and accurate inventories of gift box stocks at each point of sale. The goal was to optimize stock management, prevent overstocking, and automate replenishment based on the actual needs of each store.

Challenge:
Facing the obsolescence of its application, a modernization was necessary. This task was entrusted to UBI Solutions, experts in retail-focused solutions.

Solution:
A mobile application was deployed to conduct inventories by scanning the RFID tags on the packages. The data is transmitted to the UBI Cloud platform, which provides a stock overview for each store. Additionally, daily updates are sent to the client’s ERP system, ensuring continuous synchronization and enabling optimal stock management.

The implementation of RFID tags on the packages allows precise identification of items. RFID mobile terminals connected to Android smartphones simplify operations such as conducting inventories, validating received stock, and managing shipments. Implementing UBI Cloud strengthens quantitative control at the point of receipt in stores and optimizes shipment preparation, contributing to more efficient stock management.
